Programmes

RMK (Micro credit programme to Women SHGs)

  • Promoted 320 women SHGs and 16 Women Mutual Aided Cooperative Societies.
  • Empowered 2600 women and youth through enterprise development programs by imparting vocational skills and entrepreneur skills in various trades such as Jute Handicrafts, Agarbathi making Candle making, Dairy Management, Embroidery, Jardosi, Computer Data Entry, Motor Rewinding, Wooden Crafts and Soft Toys making
  • Providing education, emotional and Nutrition support to deprived children and children engaged in hazardous and non-hazardous works.
  • Providing skills to farmers in organic farming and sustainable agriculture.
  • Channeling youth force for the Development of rural areas after giving proper motivation and skills
  • Promoting sanitary conditions in rural areas through health education and Construction of low-cost sanitary latrines
  • Eradication of blindness in rural areas by organizing cataract surgical camps and Awareness Camps
  • Preventive and curative health programmes with the participation of village development committees
  • Sensitization and awareness building on Legal and Social aspects like Gender issues, Consumer rights, Child Rights, Child Marriages, Anti-trafficking and Domestic violence act.
  • Reduction of incidence of HIV among target communities i.e Female Sex Workers, Male Sex with Male and Trans Gs and empowering them through initiatives.
  • Home & Community based Care and Support Services to HIV affected and Infected Children and their families.
  • Capacity Building on Natural Resource Management (NRM).
  • Strengthening of Water Users Associations and restoration of Water Resources for creating livelihood to farmers and other sections that depend on tank water sources.
  • Construction of Rain Water Harvesting Structures with the enhanced participation of farmers.
  • Awareness on Effective utilization of land & Water Management.

 

Rural Sanitation heme implemented for CAPARTg an understanding the CAPART programmes.

    • Program being implemented in 3 blocks Gara, Ranastalam and Palakonda and 100 villages.
    • Established linkages with 6 Mandal Offices in 3 blocks and 100 village administrations.
    • Established linkages with 21 NGOs and Mahila Mandals
    • Booklet on all government sponsored schemes was got printed in local language and distributed among all stake holders for conducting awareness to rural people in remote villages.
    • Seminars and awareness camps were organized in 100 target villages to sensitize all stake holders on Govt. Schemes, Domestic violence act, consumers act, Right to information act, Child Rights and Tribal Rights.
    • 3 Block Coordinators coordinating for the organization of development programs with the Govt. agencies Grama Panchats and Local NGOs.
    • Database of 6 Mandal Pharchts in 3 blocks available with the Nodal NGO.
    • Linkages built with Nehuru Yuva Kendra, Lok Adalath, Field Publicity Office, DRDA, SC Corporation, DM & HO, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and ICDS.
