ENTERPRISES PROMOTION

 

Microenterprise promotion is one of the very important approaches of YCB in reduction of overall poverty of rural families. YCB provides variety of Business Development Services to the Rural Women and Youth. YCB provides technical trainings, marketing support, insurance coverage, financial linkage, input supply facilities to the rural entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs are supported with the CBO registered under Mutual Aided Cooperative Society (MACS) Act. Development Commissioner, Handicrafts supported for the promotion of Jute Cluster with 552 women entrepreneurs in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. The members trained by the Organization had set up their stalls in different state level and national levels exhibitions. Further the products were displayed in south Asian countries mela conducted in Bezieng, China.

 

Training Program on Jute Crafts – Master Crafts Person Mrs. G. Anasurya imparting techniques for making Jute Hanging Chair.

 

The members who got training from YCB started producing different varieties of beautiful decorative and utility products and the Cooperative society procuring the products manufactured by its member artisans.

552 artisans were supported with micro insurance services under Janasree Bheema Yojana and Rajeev Gandhi Shilpa Swastya Vikas Yojana Schemes by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Min. of Textiles, Govt. of India apart from the above services.
